Let's play ball!
It usually takes me a while to draw the human body. I'm really not bad at it until I am forces to draw it quickly. So, I want to break out of that habit and a way that I've been doing that is through quick gestural drawings and quick pose lines and then I fill it in. I tried drawing gestural-like and really sketchy it really helps you find the form but, it can also if done wrong, distort it. So, I did a little bit of baseball gestural drawing of people playing baseball. It was quick and fun.

1 minute squirrel sketches
I decided to practice gesteral drawing today by sketching squirrels in various poses and I tried to draw them each in a minutes timing. I think drawing quickly gives it so much more energy and the poses are so much stronger.
