Parting Ways - Finished

I finally finished my Voltron Fan Art for Allura and Lance for Season 8. I tried out clip studio for the first time. It was a fun ride and I have lots to learn with it. It's a great animation, illustration, and comic book software opportunity that is cheaper than most brands but with professional features. I am excited to learn more of it.

The End is the Beginning - Always (Work in Progress)

Season 8 was so emotional for me. I love Allura so much. I resonate with her a lot and I love Allura and Lance. <3 I had to make a Voltron Season 8 Tribute to Allura and Lance <3    This is just the work in progress. I plan on posting the finished version soon! :3  The soundtrack of the show is amazing and so beautiful and heart touching. 

Goodbye Voltron and 2018

I finally finished the season finale of Voltron: Legendary Defender on Netflix. The collaboration between Studio Mir and Dreamworks Animation was fantastic! I need to watch the original but, I love this series. Allura and Lance are sweethearts despite the sad ending. I love them to pieces so, I could not help but draw them. I plan on doing a digital version in color. :) 2018 was not my best year. I had many let downs in my personal life but also exciting opportunities fly my way in my field. I pray that 2019 will be more rewarding than 2018 was. I am considering putting myself out there for more freelance projects. All of my freelance work just sort of flew my way but, I'm excited that I may be able to freelance more soon.  Happy New Years Folks! May you have a wonderful day!

1 minute figure studies

Tonight I spent some time drawing the human figure again. I am going to try and draw the human figure daily so that I get a better feel at it. I enjoy it but, drawing the human anatomy isn't my strongest strength. I am an animal and creature drawer and that is what I enjoy drawing most but, I know that with practice I can get much better. :) I also want to work on creating unique characters, facial features, and the male anatomy especially since I am not as used to that. I am hoping that life drawing will help out with that a lot. It will also help me build a library of anatomy that I can pull from when I am drawing and animating.

Saber- Fate Series- Sketch

I could not help but draw Saber from the Fate Series. She is such a wonderful character. I love her character design, hair, and personality. I could not help but binge watch the entire series ahh :3

Hyena-Pencil Brush Study

I practiced drawing a hyena with a pencil brush in Adobe Photoshop to get the feel of what they are like. It's a bit on the darker side and I should have added some more light but, this was a pretty quick one.

The Adventures of the Spider Monkey and Billy Goat (Untitled Wrestling Book) - Revised Book Cover Design

I made some color revisions to the book cover design that the author wanted for the cover. This is how it turned out. :)

Book Cover- Progress

I  have been busy working on a book cover for a local author in Indiana. It is due friday  so I have been busy. Below, are three sketch ideas I had come up with. He liked the first design so, I am recreating it with a simple shading style and neat linework. I've got a lot to do but, it is close to being completed. Below the sketches I posted my current progress. I'm pretty happy with the outcome so far. I will post the final one and the revisions if there are to be any. :)

Valentine's Flyer

My work asked me to design another flyer for the store to put in bags for this year's Valentine's Day. So, I started off doing a bunch of designs and I have finally found one that I like. Here is the final versions. The first one is without the background and the second is one with the background. I am very pleased with this design. :)

Constructing the Form from the Skeleton

Just practicing constructing the figure using the skeleton.

A drawing I did to practice creating the form using the skeleton and the trajectory of the spinal column. I am learning a lot about the human anatomy. Then I took the drawing and shaded it in pencil.
