It Otter Be Snowing -Colored

Take time to reflect...

I've recently been on the go constantly and I've just been so stressed out about my goals in life and I told myself that I needed to take time and reflect on how far I've gotten.  I need to stop thinking about what others think about me and my goals and just try and focus on small goals.  IMy goal this year is to just draw a little bit of the human anatomy once a day and not paint huge pieces but, something fun and short.  I feel like I'm constantly comparing myself to other artist and it is un-needed.

This quote has encouraged me:

"By taking the time to stop and appreciate who you are and what you've achieved - and perhaps learned through a few mistakes, stumbles and losses - you actually can enhance everything about you. Self-acknowledgment and appreciation are what give you the insights and awareness to move forward toward higher goals and accomplishments."

I'll get there one day...

It seems like forever until I will save enough to reach my goals to get my computer set up and Wacom cintiq... Slowly I am getting there but, I just feel like it will never come.  This little poster gave me some motivation I guess. I'm slowly working towards my goals the best I can.

I got "The Graphic Artist's Guild to Ethical Pricing" and "The Artist's Guide to Drawing Domestic Animals".
